Main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis will tour the Ionian island of Zakynthos on Wednesday, where he’ll meet with local office-holders, municipal officials and tourism-related business owners.
The ND leader and former minister will also visit a wildlife habitat set up for the endangered loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta), as Zakynthos has several beaches which are important nesting areas for the turtle.
