ΑΕΚ Athens won the Greek Cup on Tuesday evening by downing rival Olympiacos Piraeus 1-2 before empty stands at Athens' Olympic Stadium.
The trophy comes against the 2015-16 Greek first division champions Olympiacos and in the first year of AEK's return to the top league after relegation due to a financial default by the previous management two years ago.
The game was played without fans after a decision by the football federation and sports ministry, in the wake of a hooligan-marred semi-final game in Thessaloniki two months ago between Olympiacos and PAOK Thessaloniki.
