Numerous explosions engulfed a propane plant in flames in Tavares, Fla., late Monday, injuring at least six people — two of them critically — leaving at least 10 others unaccounted for and forcing evacuations for a full mile around the scene. The explosions began about 11 p.m. ET at the Blue Rhino plant in Lake County, near Orlando, NBC station WESH of Orlando reported. Lake County firefighters told the station that five people had been airlifted to hospitals by helicopters and that a sixth was transported by ground. Two people were in critical condition at Orlando Regional Medical Center, the hospital said.
