In this documentary, the poorer, uprooted, full-of-hardships survivors, their descendants, historians, and genocide activists speak about the genocidal crimes. Through new and archive footage, 2d animation, sketches, archive photos and newspapers, this documentary provokes the discovery of the truth beyond denial. Julia Speropoulos is a Greek American director/producer. She graduated with an acting degree from Florida International University. She also studied at New York Film Academy, NY. She performed in Free Rider,and hosted the Greek Sewer Stories Metropolis show by the Dutch channel VPRO. As assistant director won several awards. Jean is her first documentary, won three awards, and was selected at several film festivals. Her documentary Yubi acquired one award, and was selected at documentary festivals. She currently travels between the United States and Greece.
