Leona Lewis, who found fame as a reality show contest winner in Britain two years ago, has reached number one in America.Lewis became the first British female solo artist in more than 20 years to top the U.S. pop ratings. Her single "Bleeding Love" hit number one in the Billboard Hot 100 chart on Thursday, prompting her mentor X Factor presenter Simon Cowell to offer his congratulations to the singer. The 22-year-old Londoner shot to fame in Britain after winning "The X Factor" in 2006.
