Jobs data help Dow; Nasdaq falters

U.S. stocks ended in mixed fashion as a report showing modest job losses in April soothed economic jitters, but a surprise loss at SunMicrosystems hampered tech stocks.The Dow climbed 48 points to 13,058. The S&P 500 gained 4 points to 1,413. The Nasdaq lost 3 points to 2,476. Crude oil pirces jumped $3.80 to settle at $116.32 a barrel.
