Veteran comedic actor Costas Voutsas, one of the few remaining major stars from the "golden age" of Greek cinema in the 1960s, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, at the age of 88.
Veteran comedic actor Costas Voutsas, one of the few remaining major stars from the "golden age" of Greek cinema in the 1960s, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, at the age of 88.
Voutsas, was hospitalized with a respiratory infection since Feb. 7 in an Athens hospital's ICU.
He remained a mainstay on the theater scene and television up until his illness.
