A three-justice misdemeanor court in the port of Piraeus on Thursday rejected a motion by Russian national Alexander Vinnik to be released on bail.
The 39-year-old Vinnik, dubbed "Mr. Bitcoin" by international media, is held on no less than four international warrants.
He has reportedly begun a hunger strike to press for his demand to be extradited to his home country to face charges there.
