The Maritime Economic Forum, an initiative by local NGOs and Thessaloniki residents, will host its inaugural conference in the northern Greece city on Friday, on the issue of "Shipping Economy and Greek Growth in Thessaloniki: the Value of Education and Professional Training."
The conference will be hosted at the CEDEFOP center, and is also supported by "Naftemporiki".
According to the organizers, the conference to aims to present an overview of the latest updates of the Thessaloniki port’s development and the main challenges facing the shipping, energy, transports and logistics sectors in SE Europe.
