The lease agreement for the "Mary" has already commenced, while the other three vessels will shift to CMA CGM management in the second half of 2019.
Poseidon last week announced its merger with Global Ship Lease, an agreement billed as reaching 780 million USD and with the potential of establishing a new shipping company with a fleet of 38 vessels - mostly small to mid-sized ships - with total TEU reaching nearly 198K and with an average age of 10.7 years.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated development, Diana Shipping announced the sale of a bulker, the panamax-sized Alcyon (constructed in 2001), for 7.45 million USD, with delivery set for January 2019.
