Anti-corruption prosecutors have reportedly set in motion the process to open bank accounts held by former Greek prime minister, his wife, brother, as well as two former PASOK party ministers, the Athens daily "Nea" reported on Wednesday.
Anti-corruption prosecutors have reportedly set in motion the process to open bank accounts held by former Greek prime minister, his wife, brother, as well as two former PASOK party ministers, the Athens daily "Nea" reported on Wednesday.
The paper cites a document issued by a judicial watchdog against money laundering of criminal proceeds ordering the bank account openings. The ministers named in the report are Michalis Chrysohoidis and Vangelis Malesios.
Moreover, the order, dated Oct. 30, 2018, also covers Malesios' spouse and a weapons systems middleman, Louka Romanou.
The judicial order was sent to five Greek banks, requesting information on bank accounts from 2000 and after.
