Greece's statistics authority (EL.STAT) announced the revised figure on Monday. In absolute figures, the 3.9-percent primary budget surplus translates into 7.01 billion euros.
At the general government level, the surplus reached 0.8 percent of GDP, the same as April's numbers.
Additionally, the forecast for the country's external debt as a percentage of GDP was improved, set at 176.1 percent of GDP, down from April 2018's 178.6 percent.
