Greece's finance minister, Euclid Tsakalotos, on Monday took his turn at a Parliament chamber podium to brief MPs of ruling SYRIZA party over the closely watched and soon-to-be-concluded third bailout, referring to "expected criticism" by creditors within the framework of completing the fourth (and last) review of the ongoing program.
Fresh from his talks in Washington D.C. at the annual IMF-WB Group spring meetings, Tsakalotos merely referred to "different views" on the part of the "Institutions" - the name briefly employed for a few months in 2015 to refer to Greece's institutional creditors.
In conveying his assessment from Washington, Tsakalotos claimed the climate abroad for the thrice bailed out country is now "positive", while expressing the government's volition to conclude the third memorandum program successfully.
