A joint ministerial decision was signed on Wednesday that essentially opens the way for the commencement of a major facilities expansion and renovation at the coastal Asteras Vouliagmeni site in extreme southeast Athens, one of the best-known and picturesque resorts in Greece.
At least five Cabinet ministers and deputy ministers signed the decision.
The Asteras site includes three hotels, a marina, bungalows and other facilities.
