Main opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Saturday again referred to the need for a major political change in Greece, one that will allow for a "radical restart", as he said.
He made the statement while speaking to supporters in the northeast border city of Komotini.
"Never before has Greece had such a need for so radical a restart; to leave behind this nightmare ... however, this necessitates a major political change. Mr. Tsipras (the Greek prime minister) was tried and failed."
Riding high in the wake opinion poll results showing his center-right party ahead of ruling leftist SYRIZA with a double-digit figure, Mitsotakis again said his main policy emphasis will be a reduction in tax rates.
