A union representing air traffic controllers in Greece on Saturday afternoon announced a suspension of rolling 24-hour strikes.
The announcement came after a meeting between union representatives and the relevant transport minister, with the former saying they were provided "commitments and clarifications" by the government side, ostensibly over a coming draft bill revising the civil aviation authority in the country.
Scores of flights to and come Greece, as well as domestic routes, were suspended when the strike was called.
