Talks continued on Wednesday, with the Greek finance and economy ministers, Euclid Tsakalotos and Giorgos Stathakis, respectively, heading up the Greek side. The main item on Wednesday’s “menu” will be “strategy for growth”.
Public expenditures and social security issues will be discussed in separate talks, followed by negotiations on the energy sector and tax policy.
Representatives of the “quartet” of creditors will be in Athens until Friday.
On Tuesday, ministers and creditors’ representatives discussed the 13 remaining “prior actions” Athens must implement; preparation for a second review of the Greek program, and a finance ministry draft bill for the voluntary disclosure of undeclared capital.
