Main opposition New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Tuesday again lambasted the leftist Greek government on the subject of “law and order” in the country, a day after the head of the traffic police for the greater Athens area was assaulted by unknown assailants, who took advantage of a protest through central Athens.
Mitsotakis reiterated his charge that the current government tis unable to guarantee law and order in the country.
His comments come after at least four suspects, allegedly belonging to so-called “anti-state” groupings spotted the uniformed officer outside the Athens Polytechnic and attacked him and another officer.
