The Greek envoy was one of 11 new ambassadors to present their credentials to the US president.
Obama said he believes Greece will emerge stronger from its current hardships, while also lauding the generous humanitarian assistance offered to Mideast refugees and migrants that arrived that landed in the country via opposite Turkey.
