Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras briefed President Prokopis Pavlopoulos on Monday evening over the conclusions of a same-day Eurogroup meeting in Brussels, where the former said the long-delayed first review of the Greek program is “closing without additional measures”.
Tsipras also referred to an agreement that points to a “road map” for Greek debt relief, something he said is a “positive message to the markets, but also to Greek citizens, which have borne a heavy burden and are due good news.”
Earlier, Tsipras spoke by phone with Greece’s main opposition political leaders, where he also briefed them on the Eurogroup session.
