Owed tax returns total 1.099 billion euros, while insurance funds recorded the largest chunk of the total owed by the state, 2.876 billion euros in March, down from 2.931 billion euros in February 2016.
State arrears to hospitals, meanwhile, reached 1.146 billion euros (1.092 billion in February 2016).
