According to figures supplied by the online travel platform Trivago, Rome leads the search category by Greek tourists for Easter week for a third year in a row, although Greek destinations are also very prominent.
Corfu is again on top of Greek destinations for Easter, although increased searches this year have included Hania, Crete, Thessaloniki in the north, the holiday island of Rhodes and the northwest lakeside city of Ioannina.
London was in third place, while Istanbul – last year’s third-place preference by Greek tourists – wasn’t included in the first 15 searches this year.
