Calm returned to a makeshift refugee and migrants’ camp on the border between Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (fYROM) on Tuesday after a police operation to free up a blocked rail line at the Idomeni station.
Protesters continued to block the rail line and even started broadcasting slogan on a loud speaker, in order to “send a message to Europe”, as they claimed.
Refugees and migrants threw rocks at police during an earlier melee and even snatched a woman in police custody.
