Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, in her capacity as a special UNHCR envoy, was received by Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at his Maximos Mansion office on Wednesday, after she first briefly toured facilities at the port of Piraeus housing Mideast refugees, but also irregular migrants.
Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, in her capacity as a special UNHCR envoy, was received by Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at his Maximos Mansion office on Wednesday, after she first briefly toured facilities at the port of Piraeus housing Mideast refugees, but also irregular migrants.
In a press release, she stated that she arrived in Greece to boost efforts by the UN agency and the Greek government to deal with the humanitarian crisis.
