EU Commission spokeswoman Anika Breidhardt merely noted that the officials will continue talks with the Greek side.
Meanwhile, in statements published in the Sunday weekly “RealNews”, Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos was quoted as saying that Greece is a European country, and that the basis for the pending evalution “cannot be other than what was agreed to in the summer”.
