The Greek central government cash balance posted a surplus of 287 million euros in January 2016, rebounding from a deficit of 217 million in January 2015, the Bank of Greece announced on Wednesday.
The Bank of Greece’s monthly report showed that ordinary budget revenue totalled 3.15 billion euros in January 2016, compared to 3.133 billion euros in the corresponding month of 2015. Ordinary budget expenditures reached 3.392 billion euros, up from 3.2 billion in January 2015.
